Hey everybody! Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. It was absolutely beautiful weather here in Austin and that means there was a lot of time spent outside, but I know that this weather won't hold forever and soon enough we will be getting bundling up against the frigid cold. Having stated that, I want to give you gals a heads up on some of my favorite sweaters for the season and a couple of different ways to style them.
Let's start with this Balloon Sleeve Sweater from Express. It's versatile in that you can wear this darling dressed up or down. It also comes in 4 colors and is ON SALE RIGHT NOW for $37.00. Here, I've styled it for a more casual vibe with a pair of Destroyed Jeans, also from Express and my favorite pair of White High Heeled Booties .
In this look I've upped the ante a bit by pairing the sweater with a pair of Snake Print Jeans from White House Black Market and these are ON SALE RIGHT NOW for only $24.99! The gray booties are from last season but this pair from Kohl's is a great substitute to round out this outfit.
Now this Cowl Neck Sweater from Amazon is going to be making the rounds with several items in my closet to include these faux leather leggings, as seen here, as well as corduroy pants and jeans. (Click HERE to read all about how to style this great seasonal item) and Knee High Boots from the new Jennifer Lopez collaboration with DSW. The sweater comes in over 15 colors and is true to size although I sized up to a medium because I like it to fit a bit oversized.
Here I've paired it with my American Eagle Corduroy Jeggings that are ON SALE RIGHT NOW for $37.46 and a pair of Nude Pumps from Steve Madden. Corduroy has long been a fall favorite especially in this brownish - orangy color.
This Top Shop Sweater is a new purchase from Nordstrom and I'm in love with her. The fabulous pattern is, of course, something that caught my eye, and it looks great with denim or with white jeans.
Here is another new favorite, this Colorblock Sweater from Amazon. This style comes in 25 different styles and color choices meaning there is a good bet that they will have one that goes with something you already have in your closet. Another Amazon sweater, this Chunky Knit Turtleneck also comes in over 25 colors and will be great for my upcoming ski trip! It will be perfect for those cold snowy days on the mountain.
So many options! Amazon actually has a smogasbord of sweaters for every taste imaginable so when shopping for friends, significant others, or siblings remember that there is a sweater on Amazon that will fit not only your style but your budget as well.
