The Most Versatile Skirt you'll ever own

Updated: Mar 12, 2022

Hello lovelies! I hope everyone is doing welll. I know I've been absent for a while but I needed to take some time to get my feet back under me after our Costa Rica vacation and some family issues BUT, I'm back and I'm bringing you one of the most versatile skirts you will ever own and I mean.......VERSATILE!

I am a firm believer in tutu skirts for all ages. I mean, as a young girl you couldn't get me out of a fabulous tutu and bodysuit, and nothing has really changed in the many, many years that have followed. So, I give you the $25 Tutu Skirt that will change your life.

In these photos I styled it with a simple, oversized Black Blazer that most of you probably already have in your closet (if you don't own a nice black blazer, you should, it's a staple) a pair of Orange Heels, a fabulous pink and orange top handle bag a black camisole, a pair of pink and orange tinted sunnies (to continue tht pop of color from head to toe) and then added some luxe to the look with my Valentino Belt.

For this second look I wanted to play with one of the "IT" colors for spring so I added this fantastic Green Blazer, a pair of Green Mules, and for some luxe, a Gucci Brooch, and a Gucci Belt. I wanted to add a second pop of coor so I grabbed this Amazon Bag. A great statement bag, at a low price. I also added my favorite sunglasses to the mix.

For this look I added another pop, this time with pattern. (Animal Print may not be your thing, but for me, it's a neutral.)

I slipped on this Animal Print Blazer, belted it with my Valentino, and then added a pair of simple Black Bow Heels. And finally, for this look I knew I had to break out the Lady Dior Bag.

Now I am obviously never one to shy away from bold colors and prints so this amazing Amazon Duster really spoke to me for this look. To notch up the color factor I added this purple Sequin Tube Top , a pair of Fabulous Pink Mules and a sparly Purple Bag that is no longer available.

For the pies' de resistance I popped on a pair of Purple Sunnies, again to keep the color going from head to toe.

Another "IT" color for spring, this Orange Blazer and Tank from Express is a great way to stay on trend and add a pop of color to this skirt. To keep the look chic I added the Black Bow Heels and the Lady Dior Bag along with my fav sunnies again.

Don't let this little Tutu Skirt fool you, she's NOT just for spring and summer. For this straight into fall look I paired her with a simple Black Turtleneck Sweater, a pair of Knee High Black Boots, my Valentino Belt, the lady Dior Bag, my fav sunnies, and this exceptional jacket that I grabbed at Zara several months ago. While you could have topped this look with a simple Black Coat, I opted to keep the emphasis on volumn and textures so doing a waist length jacket that is also leather and shearling gives this look that could be very serious, a bit of playfulness. You ca also do a cropped puffer jacket or leather jacket.

Not for the faint of heart.....this look is ready for Vegas.....or if you're me, a grocery store run.

Over the top and fabulous, this Diva, she ready!

A simple Black Blazer topped with this fabulous Ostrich Feather Cape, the Valentino Belt, a pair of Ostrich Feather Heels and being a firm believer that you can never have too much Ostrich Feather, this fantastic Ostrich Feather Bag that I forgot to grab off my bed for this photo.

So, there ya go. I've shown you 7 different ways to style this amazingly affordable skirt but there are an infinite amount of ways to wear this Tutu Skirt. And don't ever let anyone tell you that you're too old to wear a Tutu.

Slip it on and twirl until your hearts content girl!

Have a great week!! Until next time.

XOXO Cheers!
