Spring Florals are Back

Hey friends! I know you haven't heard from me in a while but we had a big thing happened here in Texas....in case you don't watch the news. Major freeze left us without power or water for almost a week, and my home still doesn't have a functioning hot water heater but we are making due and looking toward getting our vaccinations and stepping back into life just in time for spring weather. And with spring comes all kinds of outdoor activities and here's hoping that by summer we as a nation will be getting back to the business of living our lives again which means attending weddings, brunching with our gal pals, concerts, dinners at restaurants, and most importantly, traveling.

For all of these events it's always nice to have a stash of cute spring/summer dresses to choose from and I've rounded up several that I've got in my closet to share with you.

First up, this cute number that I picked up at Nordstrom.

I love this dress from ASTR at Nordstrom. The shimmering metallic threads enliven this bloom-printed midi dress with spaghetti straps, rippled ruching at the waist, and a romantic ruffle detail. For these early cool March days, throw on this Blazer from Express over your shoulders and add these putty colored mules for contrast.

When the temperatures start to warm up switch out those mules for some cute flat sandals, like these from Steve Madden. Add a super chic bamboo bag like this one that looks a lot like the expensive Cult Gia brand, for a fraction of the cost. Finally, if you've been following me awhile you know how much I love hats and this one was purchased in Santorini in 2017, but I've linked a few similar ones for you HERE and HERE.

This dress is another one from ASTR at Nordstrom. I love how this brand uses details like the flutter sleeves and the bias cut skirt. It adds movement to the dress when you walk and I'm all about that.

This is a great dress for any beach vacation that you may be planning and you can dress it down like the one above with the very same flat sandals.

Now this cute floral covered dress from Free People....isn't a dress at all. It's actually a jumpsuit and it's perfect for the summer. Very comfy, easy to wear, and will look great on anyone. It's got side pockets and tie straps so you can get good support for the girls no matter your size. Same cute sandals, same cute bag, same cute hat, and you're ready for an adventure.

And speaking of fabulous jumpsuits...here is another one from Free People. I LOVE this jumpsuit! Probably one of my favorite purchases this year thus far. No zippers, ties, or buttons; just pull it on. So comfy, so chic, and so simple.

Did I say I LOVE that jumpsuit? Well, I love it so much that after I got the black one, I went online and ordered the red one as well.

The red banded Brixton Hat is one that I picked up at Amazon. The half moon shaped bag is pretty old but the bamboo bag would be fab with this jumpsuit as well.

This red and pink dress is also from Free People and it's another great one to dress up or down, depending on what you're doing. A perfect dress for a spring/summer wedding or with flat sandals for a beachy vacation. I can't link the shoes, they are from several years ago, but the magazine clutch can be picked up from Etsy. This dress is also on major sale!

Last but not least, this beautiful yellow dress, another ASTR Label from Nordstrom, is perfect for church services, a summer wedding, a Mother's Day gathering, or for Easter Sunday brunch.

I'm wearing the same great putty colored mules keeps the tones muted. I added this matching straw panama hat and a small white shoulder bag

There ya go ladies, all the dresses or jumpsuits that you could ever need for summer. We have planned a get-a-way to Cabo later in the summer and I can't wait to break out a few of these pretty ladies for some real activity.....and not just posing on my front patio.

Hope ya'll have a great week!

Cheers!

XOXO
